A study on the effect of fermented vegetable extract (OM-X) on enhancing muscular endurance

Forced swim test was conducted after mice was given the fermented vegetable extract (OM-X) in which vegetable, fruits, seaweed and mushrooms were fermented for a long period of time using lactic acid bacteria. The result showed that the swim time of the mice given OM-X was approx. 2 times longer when compared with that of the mice without OM-X. Also the decreases were observed in the concentration of serum lipid components (cholesterol, triglyceride and phospholipid). These results suggest that OM-X helps to reduce fatigue and enhance physical capability.
