We held an event about fermentation in Okayama.
An event featuring fermentation was held at BRANCH Okayama Kitanagase in collaboration with “ORGANIC LIFE STYLE MARKET ichi”. Dr. Muneaki Takahata, our general manager, gave a seminar on our gut and fermented food talking about greatness of fermentation to local Okayama people. It was with great pleasure that we had some small children as participants, and we hope we provided an opportunity to learn about food as family.
There were some fermented foods available for purchase from various local miso makers, soy sauce makers and sake breweries. The participants were able to even take the make-your-own-miso class, making a full day all about fermentation.
