Our Approach to Research and Development
For nearly 40 years, our company has been engaged in extensive research on fermented plant extracts and the development of products utilizing them, continuously expanding their potential. Our products, made with safe and highly functional fermented plant extracts, have been trusted and chosen by customers in more than 35 countries worldwide and have contributed to health and well-being of people around the world.
In particular, we have invested significant resources in researching functionality of "OM-X," the fermented plant extracts that characterize our products, and extensive data have been accumulated through numerous studies. The proprietary lactic acid bacteria strain "TH10," discovered and studied by our founder, Iichiroh Ohhira, is a highly functional strain supported by extensive research.
Our research department is a small but dedicated team. Through collaboration with external experts and partners, we have continued to advance the research that forms the heritage of our company.
Utilizing the credible scientific evidence, we support our distributors in their sales and marketing efforts, and provide customers across diverse markets with confidence in our products and valuable health benefits.
We have now established "Scientific Advisory Board" as an external advisory body to the CEO, which will give us highly specialized and insightful advice adding greater depth and width to our research. The aim of this advisory board is to further advance our research and accelerate our science-based management initiatives, and work toward realizing of the Niitaka Group's long-term vision: "Supporting the World Shine - Clean, Beautiful, and Sustainable"
