Anti-fatigue effect of OM-X, fermented plant extract with lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacterial: A randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, comparative study

 [Objective]

In modern society, an increasing number of people suffer from chronic fatigue. We examined the anti-fatigue effect of the OM-X capsules on 38 healthy Japanese men and women who felt fatigue.
[Methods]
Japanese men and women were divided into two groups, one taking the OM-X capsules and the other taking placebo, each group took 3 capsules per day continuously for 12 weeks. The fatigue sensation was measured before and after the test, and blood samples were taken to measure antioxidants in the blood.
[Results]
Compared to the placebo group, the OM-X capsule group showed a significant reduction in the fatigue sensation after 12 weeks of intake, both in terms of change in VAS (Visual analog scale) and CFS (Chalder fatigue scale).
The blood antioxidants level after 12 weeks of intake was also significantly improved in the OM-X capsule group.
